Sheila and Michael did their weekend cleaning. Write down what things were done. use the simple past passive.
example:
to bring some chairs.
Some chairs were brought.
1. to sweep the floor
- the floor were sweep.
2. to do the dishes.
- the dishes were doing.
3. to clean the windows.
- the windows were cleaning.
4. to water the plants.
- the plants were water.
5. to cook dinner.
dinner were cooking.
6. to tidy the bedroom.
- the bedroom were tidy.

ich hab mal 'nen paar Sachen angemerkt!

Es ist doch nur ein Flur, "were" steht für Plural.
Das Verb muss in die dritte Form.
> 2. to do the dishes.
> - the dishes were doing.
Hier bringst die Verlaufsform mit rein - setze auch hier das Verb in die dritte Form - so ähnlich wie der Beispielsatz.
> 3. to clean the windows.
> - the windows were cleaning.
siehe 2.
> 4. to water the plants.
> - the plants were water.
Verb in die dritte Form
> 5. to cook dinner.
> dinner were cooking.
Singular und siehe 2.
> 6. to tidy the bedroom.
> - the bedroom were tidy.
Singular + dritte Form
Das Passiv wird gebildet mit " to be + 3. Form der Verbs ".
Kein ....-ing - das hat mit conditional nix zu tun.

Hallo nochmal,
Du brauchst beim Passiv nur drei Punkte zu beachten:
1. In welcher Zeit befinde ich mich (hier "past simple")
2. Wer oder was "erleidet" - d.h. das Verb "to be" kann dementsprechend auch nur in der Form was (singular) und were (plural) auftauchen.
3. Wie lautet die dritte Form des Verbs.
Daher:
> also wäre es bei
> 1. to sweep the floor.
> - the floor is being sweep
- the floor was swept -
> 2. to do the dishes.
> - the dishes is doing.
- the dishes were done.
> 3. to clean the windows.
> - the windows is being clean.
- the windows were cleaned.
> 4. to water the plants.
> - the plants were water.
- the plants were watered
> 5. to cook dinner.
> - the dinner is being cook.
- the dinner was cooked (bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob to cook regelmäßig ist!)
> 6. to tidy the bedroom.
> - the bedroom is being tidy.
- the bedroom was tidied (dito - is schon ganz schön lange her mit Schulenglisch).
So besser?
Ich wollte dich mit dem Conditional nicht durcheinander bringen, tut mir leid.

Hallo suzan!
Übersetz Dir diese Sätze doch mal ins Deutsche ...

> Some chairs were brought.
"Einige Stühle wurden gebracht!"
Im Deutschen hast Du doch auch ein Passiv, das ein Partizip des Verbes benutzt.
Genauso funktioniert das hier auch im Englischen. Da wird ja von dem Verb "to bring" die 3. Form (= Partizip) verwendet.
> 1. to sweep the floor
> the floor were sweep.
Was wollen wir hier sagen?
"Der Boden wurde gewischt."
Also: "The floor was (= Singular!) swept."
Nun versuche doch nach demselben Schema die anderen Sätze.
