Example: Ralph went to the bank.Then he went shopping in London. (After)
After he had gone to the bank he went shopping in London.
a) He went to Harrod's. Then he looked over the flea-market. (before)
- Before he looked over the flea-market he had gone to Harrod's.
b) He bought some cassettes. Then he bought a walkman. (after)
- After he had bouhgt some cassettes he bought a walkman.
c) He wrote a letter to his parents. Then he put it in the letter box. (after)
- After he had wrote a letter to his parents he put it in the letter box.
d) He had some ice-cream. Then he went home to Chesterfield. (before)
- Before he had gone home to Chesterfield he had some ice-cream.
