Guten Morgen
Ich habe ein paar Sätze wo ich an deren Richtigkeit meine Zweifel habe.
Tank's a lot for your efforts to look for an appropriate accommodation. As you have desired I will deliver/pass my statement to your suggestions.
But the prize for this room exceeds my financial possibilities.
To stay by (?) a family would gives us the opportunity to come into contact with local people and their culture. Furtermore, I'm sure they could give us a lot of worthwhile tips. Bit I hope you are aware, that we had to do a lot of housework and maybe the family is very strict.
When we rent a flat we would have our own kitchen, so that we could cook our own food. This would be surely more expensive, as to eat always out.
I hope, I could deliver you with some useful tips. But it's up to you to find a proper accommodation.

Du wolltest wohl sagen, dass selbst kochen billiger ist als immer auswärts zu essen. So wie dein Satz da steht, heißt es aber teurer (more expensive).
billiger = cheaper, dann passt es.

Alternativ zu deliver passte m.E. auch das einfache "give", dann aber das "with" streichen.

Guten Tag,
nach meiner Kenntnis wird "than" genutzt um einen Vergleich "größer - kleiner" darzustellen.
z.B. bigger than..., smaller than...
"as" kommt zum Einsatz wenn es um gleich große Dinge geht.
z.B. as big as...

Furtermore, I'm sure they could give us a lot of worthwhile (bin mir nicht sicher aber ich glaube das ist nicht so gebräuchlich, nimm vielleicht useful) tips. Bit (ich glaube du wolltest But schreiben) I hope you are aware, that we had (besser: would have) to do a lot of housework and maybe the family is very strict.
