Hallo
Ich habe mal wieder etwas geschrieben.
In the last decades you could (aber es dieser Prozess ist auch heute noch im Gange) see the tendency that the world (becomes/gets) closer and more uniform. For example the Chinese eat the same food, play the same computer game as Europeans. This process is caused mainly through the globalization. The same process is visible in the language. When you work in a global company you need to speak and write English, because this is the worlds main language. Therefore our mother tongue loses importance.
This tendency leads to the result, that we lose our connection to our own culture and costumes.
But in my opinion this process isnt unproblematic, because a lot of people find stabilize in their culture. Rooting from culture will certainly have negative consequences.

But you can also see the opposite of the inclination to unity. They feel themselves in danger and as reaction they fight again the modern society. A good example would be Jihad or Taliban.
